Beginning ...

I admit it. Technology isn't my thing. I have a site domain, but designing web pages intimidates me. In fact, it stops me dead in my tracks. Why does it need to be so complicated? Am I just making it harder on myself than it needs to be? Probably.

So, my web site goes unfinished. A blog seems easier. Easier is good. A place to begin. This blog is my leap into cyberspace.

Looking back over poetry, written many years ago, I re-discover a piece that echoes my fear factor ... and a leap of faith in spite and/or because of my unsettled feelings. I am a "diver" by nature, so I'm diving.

Here it goes ...

Spaces of Unknown

Precarious
crouched
toes curled over
the edge of the ledge
peering down
mesmerized
into the void

Dark Heart
of my own
infinite unknown
casting out Hope Stones
prayers sink like
weighted echoes

Clarity of vision
blurs
obscures
here are the shadows
of my wildest fears

Spaces filled with
chaos beyond the traces
of my frail
manipulative control

The Spiritual Warrior
chooses the course
of right action
stands
understands
and leaps empty handed
into the void.
